Welcome to Puffy (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Puffy mobile application (the “Service”) and our website .
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Disclaimer (Not Medical Advice)
- General Well-being Only: Puffy is designed to be a cozy mind companion providing general well-being tools, tracking features, and breathing exercises.
- No Professional Medical Advice: The Service does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional human therapy or medical intervention.
- Emergency Situations: If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please immediately contact your local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.
2. Accounts and Authentication
- To use certain features of the Service, you must log in using secure third-party authentication (such as Google Sign-In via Supabase).
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and third-party login credentials.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
3. Intellectual Property
- The Service and its original content, features, functionality, UI/UX designs, and logos (including the Puffy Koala character) are and will remain the exclusive property of Puffy and its licensors.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the application without our prior written consent.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service:
- In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material (spam).
- To attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or disable the secure operation of our infrastructure or databases (Supabase).
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Puffy, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
6. “As Is” and “As Available” Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
